No. PC builders assemble parts; WisePC is a decision layer above them. You start from what you want to run, and WisePC picks the system architecture first, then the components — with trade-offs, energy cost and an upgrade path.
Where do the prices come from?
Builds use real market observations when available; for components without market data yet, WisePC uses a deterministic spec-based estimate and marks the build as approximate (≈) — it never fakes a 0 € price.
Does WisePC take commissions on recommendations?
Some product links are affiliate links, clearly disclosed. A commission never changes a recommendation — the decision kernel has no access to the monetization layer.
Can I plan around hardware I already own?
Yes. Register your hardware and every plan starts from what you already have: reuse, salvage, KEEP/UPGRADE/SELL/REPLACE analysis — including an honest “do nothing” when your current hardware already covers the workload.
