WisePC started because we kept giving the same homelab advice over and over in forums and couldn't find a single site that gave direct, honest recommendations without hiding a sales pitch.

Every calculator on this site runs in your browser. We don't store your inputs. We don't require accounts. The tools exist to give you a good answer, not to generate leads.

We earn affiliate commissions when you buy through our links. This is how the site is funded. We disclose every affiliate relationship — see the disclosure page — and our methodology explicitly prohibits letting affiliate relationships influence rankings.

If you find a recommendation that's outdated, a price that's wrong, or logic in a tool that doesn't make sense, please open an issue. We'd rather be corrected than wrong.
